Hi, I’m Eleora!

I am the 13 year old founder behind A Little Ripple, a business selling pickleball paddles.

I started this business at 10 as part of my homeschooling project to learn life skills. At first, I started off this business by selling stationery to teachers but it didn’t take off as anticipated. So, one day, my mother suggested pivoting to selling Pickleball products, as it seemed to be an upcoming sports trend. I started building the website and designing the logo while my mother helped me kick off by sourcing for supplies. We didn’t know much about Pickleball at first, but we were excited to learn. We researched from scratch and decided to take the leap of faith. 

We started small — just a few paddles listed on the site and slowly grew from there. Our first few orders felt surreal. I remembered packing each one carefully with a handwritten thank you note until the orders became too many to hand write, as pickleball started to explode in popularity. We are really grateful for all the customers who had supported us.

我在我的网站上工作,最初是一个小小的家庭学校项目,后来变成了一种热情。我不想删除该网站,因为我花了很多时间和精力来做这件事,但我必须支付网站费用才能保持其运行。我意识到也许我可以更进一步,将其发展为一项全职业务,为我的零用钱提供资金以及传教士平台。这样我就能够实现我的好牧人对我所说的话。我母亲告诉我,当她为我祈祷时,耶稣给了她一个叫做“涟漪效应”的词。我可能很年轻,但上帝会使用我对同龄人产生强大的连锁反应。

我的母亲帮助我处理财务和采购方面的问题,我 15 岁的姐姐是我的营销经理。她从事数字营销业务,为在线企业提供销售和营销服务。我们的业务相辅相成。由于这项业务是我的家庭学校项目,我将尝试通过实践尽可能多地学习。因此,我会犯错误。请对我有耐心,并就如何改进向我提供反馈。

我们不在新加坡/英国/美国,但我们在新加坡有现货,并且定期发货,因此等待时间可能从 3 天(现货)到 4 周(预购)不等。当我在新加坡时,我会尝试亲自交付。
