Hi, I’m Eleora!

I am the 14 year old founder behind A Little Ripple, a business selling pickleball paddles.

I started this business at 10 as part of my homeschooling project to learn life skills. At first, I started off this business by selling stationery to teachers but it didn’t take off as anticipated. However, i couldnt bear to give up the business as i had already put in a lot of effort into it and had grown to enjoy running this little business.

So despite my initial failure, i tried again, this time with a totally new product. We had the idea of pivoting to pickleball as we had just picked up the game from a new friend we made, who is a pickleball addict. We enjoyed the game but also saw the potential for the game to be hugely popular. With a new vision, I started building the website and designing the logo while my parents helped me kick off by sourcing for supplies.

I did much research about pickleball paddles from scratch and gave it my all to re-brand my business, determined to succeed this time.

Soon after, my efforts paid off as pickleball started exploding in popularity afew months after I started. As one of the first few sellers before the 'boom', I had first mover advantage.

I started small, but dreamt big. In 2025, my family's unconventional life journey was featured on major news media such as Straits Times, CNA, 8 days, TNP, Asiaone and Faith based media, Salt & Light. You can read them under 'Media Exposure'.

Our business has since taken off a new level, as I am beginning to have opportunities to impact lives beyond business. I give talks to student care centres, volunteer outreach, etc to encourage them to take the leap of faith in pursuing their dreams, by sharing my little successes and failures along the way. This, is a fulfilment of the initial vision- that young as I am , I will create ripples and encourage young lives around me.
